Four years ago, liberal Indians witnessed the Award Wapasi stage managed by the left wing bandwagon but did not discern their grand plot being played out. Liberal Indians are insensitive to their own interests - they momentarily respond to the provocations but instantaneously forget the injustice meted out to them. The secular "troops" are however persistent with their efforts to divide and rule the Indian masses. While some may have sensed the extent of the onslaught being brought over by these "troops" in the year prior to 2019 elections, most are oblivious to their manoevuring.
On 3rd Sep, an uneventful Indigo flight landed at Tuthukodi airpot. However just before disembarking started, a passenger named Sofia shocked her co-passengers when she raised slogans "Down with Fascist BJP govt". The seat next to her was allotted to Dr Tamilsai - the BJP leader from TN who was scheduled to meet the representatives of Devendrakula Vellalar community in Tuthukodi. Dr Tamilsai registered a complaint against Sofia for the ruckus created inside the airplane against the clear aviation rules. The police arrested Sofia and requested her to hand over her identity when Sofia handed over an expired passport. It was shocking to note that she had managed to board the flight using an expired passport as her photo identity. As she was not carrying her current passport, the police allowed her to leave but asked her to submit it at the earliest. The girl was accompanied by her Dalit Muslim Christian parents - father Dr Sami a TN govt retired employee doctor and mother a TN govt employee. Sofia registered a counter compliant with police against Dr Tamilsai.
The 28 year old "student" Sofia arrived at Chennai on 30th Aug from Canada. She had earlier completed her Mathematics graduation from the Lutyens Delhi's prestigious St Stephen's College and went on to take higher education in Germany and Canada. Her parents originally belonged to the Devendrakula Vellalar (noted as a scheduled caste) community who later converted to Christianity. As soon as the incident took place, the messages were sent to liberal cabal across the country who in unison started tweeting against the repressive bjpian Dr Tamilsai for getting Sofia - a young student - arrested for raising "voice against" the "intolerant fascist" BJP govt. They conveniently did not mention her crime - raising slogans inside an airplane in contravention of the aviation rules nor did they protest against her actions and unruly behaviour. Although the cabal projected her as a knaive student, one later on learnt that she actually worked for the "Polis Project" actively which is owned by a separatist Kashmiri. She was active on social media and wrote articles strongly criticising the BJP govt. She even did a podcast.
Although a practising Christian today, her caste was mentioned as Devendrakula Vellalar in the police complaint (which has now been struck out). The direction of the tweets from the cabal pointed at ensuing media trial of Dr Tamilsai and the BJP in turn.
She had earlier tweeted "I am on flight with Tamilsai Soundararajan and really want to shout .... will I be kicked out of the flight?" which shows that she was aware of consequences of what she was planning to do. The reality of arrest perhaps forced her to get admitted to a hospital and the responsibility of facing the media was taken over by her conniving father Dr Samy. Samy did not talk to the media from his home but from a nearby church - the notorious place from where the movement against Sterlite Industries was being organised and led.
Just to elaborate the significance of her parents' erstwhile caste reference - one may recall the shocking incident of an entire Tamil Nadu village getting converted to Islam in 1981 as a reaction to the injustice being perpetrated on them by the upper caste Hindus. The Devendrakula Vellalar community in the village had so converted to Islam hitting the headlines in those days.
on 4th Sep, the next day, police took the matter before a magistrate where to the utter astonishment of all, her father had managed to hire an army of 16 lawyers to defend Sofia. Magistrate who heard Sofia's case remarked. 1. She should be aware of the place before speaking.2.Why 16 lawyers have to appear for her ? One should be ok.3.Her passport to be deposited in the court
That the family belonged to Devendrakula Vellalar community got inadvertently out from her father's statements made during a panel discussion on TV channel although his family members were cautioning him against doing so. He said in the discussion that Dr Tamilsai was scheduled to leave for Tenkasi to meet the Devendrakula Vellalar community people who are inclining towards BJP. We wanted to alert our community people to the fact that while Tamilsai is welcoming them to BJP, she was the cause of my daughter's arrest."
That opened the Pandora's box. So this was a carefully crafted drama to rope in Dr. Tamilsai for no fault of hers. Sofia's father Dr Samy accepts that his daughter indeed raised slogans inside the airplane. It is obvious that he knew his daughter's plan and connived with her actively. This political stunt was played out to apparently "save" Devendrakula Vellalar community from embracing the BJP as their party. Tamilsai got framed and became the target of the national secular cabal.
Question thus remains - was it a pure coincidence that Sofia and Tamilsai were on same flight by chance? or was this pre-planned as well? Who could be aware of Dr Tamilsai's travel plan? Who could have leaked it to the Sofia family? How could the Sofia family get 3 seats exactly on the same flight? Was it again just a coincidence that Sofia got a seat next to Tamilsai or someone indeed managed this as well? A thorough inquiry could bring out the truth.
Well, Sofia's father approached the police on 8th Sep and handed over just a photocopy of her current passport instead of the passport itself claiming that it carried an active visa. So why was a photocopy accepted when court asked her to deposit the original passport itself? Why did her father go to police - is the 28 year old a minor who needs to be represented by her parents? The army of 16 lawyers managed to get a bail for her. After that, she is not seen. she is not at her parent's residence and her whereabouts are not known. Has she left India already? Did she use her current Indian passport? Does she have another passport from Canada - does she have Canadian PR? or did she vanish via Nepal or Thailand? Which passport did she use?
The story does ot end here. The magistrate's order was not uploaded to the website. It could not be accssed by qualified lawyers as well. Was the oral order documented at all? If not, what a shocking story of proceedings in magistrate's court! Can we now assume that the part 1 of Sofia drama is over - part 2 may get played in Canada.
Deccan Chronicle reported that Sofia is a close family member of the Sterlite movement fame advocate Athishaykumar. Tamil Nadu's political leaders might have helped her escape the clutches of law. The BJP has not come forward to support Dr Tamilsai either. The extent to which the secular cabal can go to "save" the Devendrakula Vellalar community from BJP's embrace is simply horrific and outrageous! They are not just acting out of desparation but fighting for their dear cause tooth and nail.
A tweeter handle openly says - Sterlite today - Adani tomorrow. Some handles have been banned. Some in media promptly came forward to criticise the judiciary for "blindly rubber stamping the arrest requests in Bhima Koregaon and Sofia case." (Link below)

For next at least one year, the Sangha and BJP leaders and sympathizers need to learn lessons from this episode and be cautious as they may get trapped into similar plots easily in just any surroundings.
